Stone Group History
Stone Electronics Co Ltd was founded in 2002 as a rechargeable battery factory, supplying tier-one manufactures with quality, reliable, and safe batteries. As our business grew, so did our entrepreneurial spirit.
In 2005, Stone became a leader in refurbished mobile electronics, servicing many global tier-one operators as well as tier-one global mobile insurance providers. Our refurbishment facility is still the largest in China and proudly holds licenses for level 3 repair including ISO9001 and ISO14000 certifications. We are also proud of our LCD / TP facility that provides 10K degree medical level clean rooms.
In 2006, the Stone Group founded a mobile integration and design company. Today our design teams are located in Korea and China. Many of our award winning designs have caught the eye of operators and carriers globally. Stone Mobile Phones are privately labeled and are supported by our homologation and software design team.
In 2008, the Stone Group founded a power line communication (PLC)
integration and design company. Today our PLC solution teams are
located in Shenzhen China. We have worked closely with Shenzhen
utility operators and telecom carriers to introduce the best PLC
technology from the global to them.
As part of the overall United States growth plan, the Stone Group opened offices in 2009 in the city of Orlando, Florida. The Stone Group created a distribution powerhouse, Cornerstone Wireless LLC. Cornerstone Wireless recently opened a new 50K square feet distribution center to handle the operations of our US teams which also includes National Unlimited LLC and Stone Technologies USA LLC. The Stone Group strategically built these corporations with world class customer support in mind. This support includes, sales, distribution, customer service, software, private labeling, packaging, testing, refurbishment, and recycling.
